Workshop on "Traditional Jewelry Techniques"
Heritage & Museums has been organizing semiannual workshops on traditional jewelry techniques for successive years and with great success. The aim of the courses is to rescue traditional jewelery techniques and to train adults interested in handmade jewelry professionally or professionally.
Within the friendly environment of the Psychic Cultural Club, trainees work with bronze, copper and silver using a variety of techniques, depending on the difficulty level of each course. Indicatively, the techniques of sharpening, forging, enamelling, as well as sealing, soldering, casting and other work required by any jewelry craftsman are presented. Many of the older students have found vocational outlets through the workshops, and exhibitions organized to present the work of the new creators after the courses have also had commercial success.
